BA, Willamette University in 1991; Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification in 1997; Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification in 2002; certificate for Human Resources Management from Portland State University

Anne Donovan, SPHR, is President of Xenium with over 25 years of experience dedicated to the Stoller Group of companies.  Beginning as an intern from Willamette University in Salem, Anne quickly worked through the ranks at Express Employment Professionals (formerly Express Personnel) and transitioned into an HR Generalist role for Express Human Resources in 1996. In January 2000, during the transition from Express Human Resources to Xenium HR, Anne helped build the client service team that now serves Xenium’s clients. Anne served as the Vice President of HR from 2001 until 2008 where she led Xenium’s HR team in providing outsourced HR services to many Northwest employers.  In 2009, she had the privilege to take on the leadership role as President for an organization she has dedicated her career to.

Anne has had years of hands-on experience with a variety of employment issues many generalists don’t tackle in a career.  From investigating harassment complaints to training supervisors and managers on compliance issues to advising employers on their obligations under state and federal employment laws, she brings “best practice” experience to support her clients’ human resource programs. Servicing a variety of businesses ranging from manufacturers to distributors, high-tech to professional services, Anne is known for her quick ability to adapt to client culture and uses creative problem solving to prevent HR issues from erupting.  Her empathetic, intuitive approach allows her to mediate conflict effectively, striking the delicate balance between serving the best interest of both employer and employee. Anne provides strategic leadership to the Xenium team and serves on several of Xenium’s client advisory boards.

Anne received her Bachelor’s Degree from Willamette University in 1991, her Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification in 2002 and holds a certificate for Human Resource Management from Portland State University.  Anne is active with the local Human Resource professional association, PHRMA (Portland Human Resource Management Association) and is a member of the national Society for Human Resource Management organization.  She also serves as the Chair of the OR/WA NWPEA chapter of Professional Employer Organizations, is a member of the Oregon chapter of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and serves on the Boards of Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest and the Technology Association of Oregon.
