Bachelor’s Degree from Guilford College in Psychology with a minor in Sociology

Annie started with Xenium in April of 2014 as a Human Resource Representative, bringing seven years of experience in human resources, payroll and benefits with her. In November, 2014, Annie transitioned into the role of Human Resource Account Representative, and as of July 2015 Annie serves as a Human Resource Business Partner.

Annie’s career started in HR with a local non-profit, where she coordinated recruitment, on-boarding and benefits administration. She eventually managed the HR department, gaining valuable experience with employee relations, unemployment, leave tracking and policy & handbook development. She enjoyed coaching the management team on HR best practices and being involved with strategic planning initiatives for company culture.

Annie is passionate about the service aspect of human resources, particularly helping Xenium clients navigate employee relations issues, HR best practice, and compliance.

Most recently, she owned a sustainable clothing company which broadened her perspective on some of the unique challenges small business owners face.

Annie has a bachelor’s degree from Guilford College in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. In her spare time, Annie enjoys yoga, fashion design and exploring the Portland food scene.
