Ashley Jones

Human Resource Representative

Coursework towards A.A. degree in Graphic Design

Ashley joined the Xenium HR team in October 2018 as a Human Resource Representative, where she enjoys supporting a variety of clients, as well as our internal Xenium HR Business Partners and Generalists.

Although she began her HR career in 2008 at Liberty Bank as an Administrative Assistant II for the Director of HR and the Compensation & Benefits Officer, she has had a variety of work experiences in other areas. In 2010, Ashley and her husband moved to Portland from Eugene so that he could complete his Mechanical Engineering degree. At that point, she worked primarily in the logistics and manufacturing fields until 2012, when she again found work in HR – as an Assistant to Xenium’s own Margaret Hagan, as well as to the president, at EC Company. In 2014, she took a part-time position at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation and decided to pursue her dream of going back to school for her graphic design degree.

Having spent her time pretty evenly between healthcare, logistics/manufacturing and human resources, Ashley admits her passion is in HR. She is drawn towards working through issues relating to employees/employers, special projects and enjoys being a resource for employers to call upon.

With HR and graphic design being her two career passions in life, it’s fitting that her other part-time job is working as a freelance designer for a close friend’s company, Clinicians of Color Community & Consulting.

Ashley considers herself a true Oregonian, having lived here her entire life. In her rare free moments, she enjoys quilting, reading, calligraphy and cross-stitch, as well as spending time with her husband and three dogs: Tucker, Ophelia and Lucy; camping, watching movies and working on home improvement projects.
