Heidi Yocum

Workers’ Comp Claims Coordinator

B.S. in Psychology, Portland State University

Heidi started with Express/Xenium back in August of 2000, growing up here as she progressed from a Front Office Coordinator for Express to the Workers’ Compensation Claims Coordinator for Xenium, which she does remotely from outside of our Tualatin office. She is responsible for managing all WC claims for clients under our SAIF WC plan, as well as conducting the annual WC SAIF audit, reporting monthly payroll to SAIF, handling WC claims support to all of our ASO clients as needed and completing our annual OSHA 300 logs for SAIF plan clients.

Following her entry level position, Heidi accepted a position as a Risk & Safety Coordinator with Express. In this position, she helped the offices manage claims for temp associates and assisted with safety tours for current/new clients. She transitioned over to the same position with Xenium, where she helped clients with safety plans, before transitioning solely to the claims management side.

Heidi was born and raised in Oregon, attending Portland State University where she earned her B.S. in Psychology. She came to Xenium/Express through a connection with family friends in the Beaverton Express office.

When she’s not handling all things workers’ comp for Xenium, Heidi and her husband, who is a Battalion Chief with Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, stay very busy with two active boys. They enjoy watching their boys play sports and spending time with friends. Heidi’s happy place is doing anything crafty.
