Julie is the Sales & Marketing Coordinator at Xenium HR, and in this role, she supports the sales and marketing functions in the organization. She has accumulated a diverse professional background over the last 25 years: she began her career in advertising, first working for two large agencies in the Los Angeles area and then for Wieden+Kennedy in Portland. After taking a few years off to stay home and raise her young children, she and her husband invested in a Human Bean Coffee franchise in Salem, which she ran for seven years. Before joining Xenium HR in September of 2017, she worked in sales support and project management for a medical laboratory equipment company in Tualatin.

Julie graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a B.A. in communications. Though she misses California beaches, she’s lived in the Pacific Northwest since 1994 and has come to love the natural beauty here, too.

In her free time, Julie enjoys traveling with her husband and three kids, watching Stanford baseball games (where her son plays), running, reading, and wine tasting with friends. She is also passionate about community service and has been actively involved in National Charity League with her two daughters for nine years; for five of those years, she sat on the executive board. Though she finds joy in helping all kinds of people, she particularly enjoys volunteering for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
