B.A. in Personnel Psychology and Human Resource Management from Washington State University – Vancouver

Leona serves as first point of contact providing onsite-HR support to a local non-profit organization regarding employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, benefit administration, and HR Compliance.

Prior to joining the Camp Fire Columbia team, Leona worked in HR for over 4 years with a Property Management company, leading the HR efforts through several years of company growth. Leona earned a BA in Personnel Psychology and Human Resource Management from WSU-Vancouver. She also holds her professional certification in HR (SHRM-CP) and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Now living in SW Washington, Leona was born and raised on the Southern Oregon coast, after relocating to several other states over 6 years while a Meteorologist in the US Air Force. In her personal time, Leona enjoys spending time with her husband and two school-age children. Leona also enjoys exploring new foods as well as relaxing with a good fictional novel.
