Margaret currently serves in the role of Director of HR Services, where she oversees the direct leadership of her HR team. She is also the first Xenium team member to be certified in investigations and heads up our on-call investigation team, as well as trains our internal team members on techniques specific to investigations.

She joined Xenium in July 2016 as a Senior HR Business Partner, where she served over a dozen clients across varying industries including professional services, manufacturing, nonprofit, retail, pharmaceutical, global information technology, and municipalities. She is passionate about employee relations and onboarding specifically, as she loves helping to resolve and coach on issues and preventing companies from losing valuable employees as the result of a poor onboarding experience.

With over 20 years of progressive professional HR experience, Margaret’s background is primarily within the human resources and payroll functions and within the non-profit, manufacturing, healthcare and construction industries. In one instance, she served as an HR Supervisor for over 9 years in a union environment. Margaret also has experience with executive/mid-level management and physician recruitment. She also has led initiatives on diversity and inclusion.

Margaret earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources from Eastern Washington University. Margaret is a member of the National Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the local Portland Human Resource Management Association (PHRMA).

In her spare time, Margaret enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, biking, stand up paddle boarding and skiing.
