Margaret joined the Xenium team in July 2016 as a Senior HR Business Partner. Margaret serves over a dozen clients across varying industries including professional services, manufacturing, nonprofit, retail, pharmaceutical, global information technology, and municipalities. She is passionate about employee relations and onboarding specifically, as she loves helping to resolve and coach on issues and preventing companies from losing valuable employees as the result of a poor onboarding experience.

With over 20 years of progressive professional HR experience, Margaret’s background is primarily within the human resources and payroll functions and within the non-profit, manufacturing, healthcare and construction industries. In one instance, she served as an HR Supervisor for over 9 years in a union environment. Margaret also has experience with executive/mid-level management and physician recruitment. She also has led initiatives on diversity and inclusion.

Margaret earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources from Eastern Washington University. Margaret is a member of the National Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the local Portland Human Resource Management Association (PHRMA).

In her spare time, Margaret enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, biking, stand up paddle boarding and skiing.
