In August of 2021, she transferred in-house to our Tualatin office where she now works as an internal HR Business Partner consulting a variety of Xenium clients.

Before coming to Xenium, Michelle worked for Fred Meyer for 11 years. Her last role there was as a Human Resource Generalist, first at the Sandy store, and then at the Happy Valley store, handling a variety of HR tasks.

She graduated from Warner Pacific College with a B.S. in human development, and she has her PHR certification. She is currently pursuing a master’s in human resource management from Colorado State University.

Michelle was born in Hawaii but didn’t live there for long before her family moved to California, where she spent most of her childhood. In 2004, she moved to Portland for college. She fell in love with the Pacific Northwest, and she’s been here ever since.

Michelle is a self-proclaimed nerd, and she loves all things science fiction and comic books. Her perfect evening at home consists of playing video games and board games. She attends comic book conventions and loves to talk about her favorite books, TV shows, and movies. Her family is very important to her, and she said her nieces and nephew are the “light of her life.” She’s also an avid explorer and loves to travel to new places whenever she can.
