Paige joined Xenium in May 2013 as a Human Resource Assistant, transitioned into the roles of Human Resource Coordinator, HR Representative and then HR Account Representative. Before recently transitioning back into the Xenium office full-time, Paige was working as an HR Generalist, splitting her time between internal HR work supporting Xenium’s growing clients, and working onsite with a Xenium client. This was a unique role and a first in Xenium history, but Paige demonstrated that she was up to the challenge! She enjoyed working internal and external HR at the same time, as it expanded her personal HR experience base, and she is now happy to be back working in-house full time with her Xenium team.
Her duties include supporting with employee relations, compensation and benefits, managing HR deliverables (Handbooks, Job Descriptions, Performance Management, Recruiting/Onboarding, etc.), recruiting and day to day HR questions. She has a special interest in project management.
Paige graduated from Portland State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, emphasis in HR. Her work experience includes five years of customer service, followed by a variety of HR work.
Next up? She will be working towards getting her SHRM-CP certification and then also looking to get certified in Project Management.
Paige is very active outside of the office, and is a dedicated volunteer for The Leukemia Lymphoma Society and The Children’s Book Bank of Portland. She loves studying ancient history and is a member of Phi Alpha Theta—a National Honor Society for history buffs. When not bouncing around Portland doing HR work, she can be found spending time with friends and family, including her beautiful niece Amelia, hiking and boating around the PNW, traveling (favorite spots: London, Santorini/Greece and Vancouver BC – “seriously, ask me about my travel plans and tell me about yours!”). And of course hockey … Go Hawks!!
