Benefits Representative

Coursework in Healthcare Studies, Santa Rosa College; Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certificate, Executive Business Communications, Madrid, Spain

Pamela joined the Xenium Benefits Team in October of 2018 as a Benefits Representative, where she manages all aspects of employee benefits for a variety of clients. She brings many years of experience to this role, most recently working for St. Helena Hospital in Napa Valley, CA in the Health Information Management Department. Earlier in her career, she worked for Hope Community Resources (a non-profit in Alaska) in the Quality Assurance/Compliance Division before accepting a position as the Lead in Health Information Management. She began her career working as an Insurance Underwriter for AAA in California.

Pamela’s educational background includes coursework in Healthcare Studies at Santa Rosa College and acquiring her TEFL certificate (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) from Executive Business Communications while living in Madrid, Spain.

She is new to Oregon, having lived in Northern California, San Diego, Arizona and Anchorage, Alaska. She was born in Caracas, Venezuela, where she lived as a young child before spending most of her childhood in the San Francisco Bay Area. Tualatin is where she spent her first two months in Oregon, falling in love with this area. A friend (and former coworker) recommended that she apply for the Benefits Representative position. She had heard about what it’s like to work at Xenium, and is thrilled to be here!

Traveling is at the top of Pamela’s list of hobbies, with her favorite destination being the Middle East. She also loves going to movies, spending time at the coast and listening to music. She has one son who is a US Border Patrol Agent on assignment in Tucson, Arizona, which gives her an excuse to visit a warm destination during the Pacific Northwest rainy season.
