Cathie Hawkins, CPA, MBA

Cathie Hawkins joined the Xenium team in 2000.  Prior to Xenium, she spent the previous 30 years in accounting at a variety of different industries and has been a member of the American Payroll Association.  When the company Cathie was working for closed down she decided it was time to go to college.  While working as a temporary employee, Cathie earned a Bachelor of Science in both Accounting and Business Administration.  She later went on to earn her Masters in Business Administration.

Cathie loves to learn new things, which blend well with the need to stay current with tax laws in over 40 states that Xenium does business in.  Her ability to track down the variables makes her a natural problem solver.  When the needle is missing in the haystack, that’s when Cathie digs in to find and correct the problem. The highlight of her day is reconciling – whether it is bank accounts, general ledgers, 3rd party sick pay or taxes.

When Cathie is not knee deep in numbers, she enjoys reading, completing crossword puzzles, assembling jigsaw puzzles and singing in her church choir.  Cathie also looks forward to her annual trips to visit her eleven grandchildren scattered from Texas to Guam.
