Dan Schwenke

Dan Schwenke began his career at the Stoller Group of Companies in 1997 as an Accounting and Finance Recruiter for Express Professional Staffing (formerly known as Robert William James and Associates). In 1998 Dan moved to ESM Group, Inc. (formerly known as Express Staff Management) where he managed the temporary workforce onsite for high-tech, manufacturing and distribution industries. Soon after, Dan joined the corporate office of The Stoller Group by taking on the role of Director of Risk and Legal. In this role, Dan quickly developed his small department of one to a team responsible for the safety, health and workers’ compensation programs for 32 Express offices in six states serving more than 400 clients and 15,000 employees. Dan was also responsible for the safety, health and workers’ compensation programs for Xenium clients.

After acting as a consultant to Xenium clients and staff for several years, Dan had the opportunity to become Xenium’s Director of Core Business Services in 2007. In 2008 Dan was promoted to Vice President of Operations for Xenium where he now oversees payroll, benefits, IT, safety, workers’ compensation and accounting. Dan’s mission with Xenium is to provide the best possible service to both clients and employees by working with his teams on payroll accuracy, product development and technology advances to constantly improve our clients’ experience working with Xenium.

Dan’s experiences with a multitude of industries in a multi-employer environment has enabled him to ensure Xenium progresses at the speed necessary to meet the needs of our diverse client base. Working with such a high volume of clients and vast array of co-employees requires Dan to constantly be involved in the day to day operations so that Xenium can continue to provide the necessary service levels which allows our clients to focus on their core business.

Your decision to partner with a Professional Employer Organization is one of the most important decisions you will make to ensure a happy, compliant and productive workforce. In an industry as complex as the PEO industry, it is critical we stay connected to the issues that affect Xenium and our clients. Dan is active with NAPEO (the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations and the largest trade association for professional employer organizations nationwide) sitting on the Oregon/Washington Leadership Council and actively participating in legal and legislative activities at a multi-state level.
