Paula Restrepo, in a piece for MyCentralJersey.com, writes that many entrepreneurs are looking to outsource their human resources. They are becoming part of a PEO, or “professional employer organization,” to obtain benefits typically unavailable to their companies. There are many benefits that PEO can offer; Restrepo writes that PEOs can help startups and growing businesses

“find and hire people … manage such things as health benefits, workers’ compensation claims, payroll, [and] unemployment insurance. They also “bring employees into a larger overall group … [which offers] workers benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans — valuable perks [an employer] would be hard-pressed to deliver on [their] own.”

By outsourcing HR, leaders can have the appropriate experts help them out while they apply their own expertise where it matters most in building their business. This helps keep experts in their realm and optimizes use of time. The result gives founders and employees the opportunity to focus on the work they are knowledgeable of and enjoy. This will give you the most out of your business.
