An Update on Criminal Background Checks

In an article by Sean P. Ray, entitled “‘Arrested Developments’: An Update on Employer Use of Criminal Background Checks from the EEOC,” Ray discusses the updated guidelines provided by the EEOC, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. NLRB Postpones Requirement to Post Notice of Employee Rights

An update from the NLRB regarding mandatory posters that display employees’ rights to form a union:

“The National Labor Relations Board has postponed the implementation date for its new notice-posting rule by more than two months in order to allow for enhanced education and outreach to employers, particularly those who operate small and medium sized businesses.
