Oregon Passes Health Insurance Exchange Law
The State of Oregon is in line to become one of the first states in the country to pass legislation aimed at setting up a health insurance exchange accessible to small businesses and individuals by January 1, 2014. SB 99, which passed the Senate earlier this year, passed the Oregon House June 7, 2011 and will head to the Governor’s office for expected signature into law.
