The Oregon and Washington minimum wage rates will increase for the 2012 year. The new rates are effective January 1, 2012:
- Oregon will increase from $8.50 to $8.80/hr.
- Washington will increase from $8.67 to $9.04/hr.

On September 20, 2010, the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries released a statement announcing that Oregon’s minimum wage will be increased from $8.40 per hour to $8.50 per hour effective January 1, 2011.
