In early 2010, Xenium put forth the initiative to become more involved in the community. One of the volunteer ideas that came to life, through a suggestion from Human Resource Account Representative, Lacey Halpern, was to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Oregon and SW Washington. During Lacey’s time in high school, she had the opportunity to volunteer at the RMHC and saw the impact that it had on families. She knew it would be a perfect fit for the entire Xenium team so she sought out to involve the wider team.
Ronald McDonald House Charity, a charity Xenium has volunteered at in the past, is hosting the “Dinner and a Movie Series” which will benefit Ronald McDonald Charities of Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Last week, in support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s ”Lock-up” fundraiser, Xenium’s Controller, Cathie Hawkins was “locked-up” with a bail [goal] of $2,400.
The objective of this program is to raise the “bail” amount of $2,400 from family, friends and colleagues, which all goes to the MDA in support of children with muscular dystrophy in the local area.
During the month of March, two separate groups of Xenium employees volunteered to make meals for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House-East. Guests enjoyed a delicious south-of-the-border night of tacos and a night in Italy with baked ziti!
