Suzi Alligood joined the Xenium team in 2002 as a Human Resource Account Manager. Her prior experience in the field of Human Resources began with hiring and recruitment for a public company within the automotive industry consisting of more than 4,000 employees in the Western United States. Suzi’s contributions resulted in increased profitability by reducing hiring costs and increasing retention, and earned her promotion to Human Resource Manager. In this role, she managed four direct reports including trainers and administrators and multiple onsite hiring coordinators. Suzi and her team continually worked to align the human resources function with the strategic goals of the company. She did this by serving the company in the following areas: management of a human resource department and personnel, coordination of mergers/acquisitions, compliance with multiple state employment requirements, resolution of complex employee relations issues and internal investigations, and development of supervisory and management training programs.

Prior to Suzi’s promotion to Director, HR Services for Xenium in January 2009, she supported a significant group of clients in varying industries including manufacturing, non-profit, retail and professional services. Suzi quickly earns the trust of her clients by providing quick technical support and honest best practice consultation. Suzi is recognized for her direct communication style and ability to balance the business needs of the client while providing practical guidance concerning employer obligations. She takes a proactive approach in servicing clients through ensuring her clients are informed of best practices, employment law updates and by helping identify employee development and training opportunities.

Suzi has developed training seminars regularly presented for Xenium clients and has partnered with local law firm, Jordan Schrader Ramis, PC, to produce and conduct workshops attracting Oregon business owners, managers and human resource professionals.

Suzi holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Oregon. She earned her Professional Human Resource (PHR) certification in 2000 and her Senior Professional Human Resource (SPHR) certification in 2004.
