Shelley Johnson
Title: Human Resource Account Representative
Shelley Johnson joined Xenium in October of 2007 as a Payroll Coordinator. Following her career aspirations, Shelley transferred into the HR department in July of 2008. In October of 2008, Shelley was promoted to Human Resource Representative, and most recently, has been promoted to Human Resource Account Representative. Shelley’s payroll background makes her a wonderful asset to the HR team, giving her a great ability to view our PEO clients from a big-picture perspective.
As a Human Resource Representative, Shelley works to complete client deliverables including employee handbooks, wage surveys and job descriptions. Shelley assists her HR teammates with a wide variety of projects: researching compliance issues, policy language and fielding questions from clients. She oversees the unemployment program for Xenium, managing claims processing and information flow to and from the Employment Department in addition to orchestrating Xenium’s quarterly training sessions. She takes special pride in ensuring a quality experience for each training participant.
Shelley enjoys the daily challenge of balancing her busy workload and delivering top-notch customer service and perfect products to her teammates and Xenium clients. Her opinions and leadership are valued by the HR team and Xenium as a whole. Shelley’s proactive and detail-oriented approach to everything she does helps her to consistently deliver outstanding customer service to both her team and Xenium clients.
Shelley received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington with a concentration in Human Resource Management. She passed the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) exam in May of 2008. Shelley is a member of the national Society for Human Resource Management organization (SHRM) and the local Human Resource professional association (PHRMA). |
