Respect in the Workplace

SUMMARY

Respect in the workplace begins with promoting diversity and encouraging acceptance at all
employee levels. Attendees will gain the practical skills to clarify what desired workplace
behavior looks like, more effectively recognize and avoid potential workplace bullying or
harassment, understand what to do when there is a workplace concern and contribute to
creating a positive and respectful workplace. Ultimately, these objectives are intended to create
a workplace where all people, regardless of background and preferences, feel respected and
valued. When people feel safe and supported, they are able to be more focused and engaged in
their work.
